LifeHouse Theater
LifeHouse Theater is about more than just the talent on-stage. It’s a place where all are welcome to come together and experience the joy of live theater (since 1993!). Located in north Redlands, this non-profit community theater produces a full slate of shows year-round.
LifeHouse Theater is committed to providing quality entertainment with an emphasis on faith-based values. All actors are “volunteer storytellers,” and most of the original productions are written (script and music) by people involved with LifeHouse.

Redlands Footlighters Theatre
For over 75 years, Redlands Footlighters Theatre has been a driving force for live community theatre. The Footlighters are located on Barton Road in Redlands, and they produce several shows a year.
The theater features traditional stage productions as well as modern adaptations. From comedies to dramas and mystery thrillers, there is something for everyone at the Redlands Footlighters Theatre.
Open auditions and volunteer opportunities are available for those interested in participating in or seeing a show. Redlands Footlighters Theatre is always looking for new members who want to support the arts in Redlands.
Redlands Theater Festival
The Redlands Theatre Festival is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to bringing the best in live theater to Redlands. Technically the summer program of the Crafton Hills College theatre department, since 1972, the festival has produced decades of different shows, ranging from Broadway classics to contemporary drama to up-and-coming new works.
Located just minutes from downtown Redlands, the Redlands Theatre Festival performs on a lovely stage with amphitheater seating in Prospect Park. Most of the festival’s productions are held during the summer months, specifically in the evenings.
Utilizing a 5-play repertory system, the Redlands Theatre Festival is able to bring five different shows in one week! Auditions are open to anyone interested in appearing on stage or helping out behind the scenes as company members with this repertory company.
University of Redlands Theater Productions
Offering Bachelor of Arts degrees in Theatre Arts and Theatre Business, as well as Minors in Theatre Arts and Musical Theatre, the University of Redlands Department of Theatre & Dance also produces a variety of theatrical works each year.
Performances are open to the public, and a variety of styles are explored. From classic plays to cutting-edge works, the University of Redlands’ theatre students and faculty are dedicated to bringing quality works to life.
Legendary Productions
Focusing on new Broadway shows, as well as classic favorites, Legendary Productions is a Redlands-based organization that showcases full-scale professional productions. If kids would like to audition for a show, the summer months often has the theater company featuring a youth production, such as “Aladdin, Jr.”

Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival
Summer 2023 brings this “longest continuously running summer music festival where no admission is charged” to its 100th season!
Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival shows are held on Tuesday and Friday evenings from June through August. The festival takes place at the Redlands Bowl, a beautiful outdoor setting with a spacious amphitheater and surrounding lawns.
The Redlands Bowl series has remained free to the community due to generous donations, which allow for incredible acts such as: symphonic operas, musicals, full orchestras, choirs, jazz bands, and much more. It’s a truly special experience that is quintessentially Redlands!
Redlands Movie Cinemas
Besides the many theaters in Redlands, there are also two large movie theaters right in town.
Harkins Theatres Mountain Grove 16
This Harkins theater has 16 screens and features all the latest movies, as well as a variety of food and drinks, including a Ciné Bar. It also offers a variety of amenities like Ultimate Lounger reclining seats with reserved seating for each audience member.
Harkins Mountain Grove 16 also has a Ciné 1 XL screen with Dolby Atmos sound. This screen is huge, and is fantastic for viewing the latest blockbuster movies!
LOOK Cinemas Redlands
Just across town from Harkins Theatres is LOOK Cinemas Redlands. This dine-in cinema has six screens, luxury seats, and an expanded menu featuring a variety of snacks and drinks. The food isn’t prepared until you order it, so it’s always fresh.
