ANA Lounge Lisbon

Are you looking for a luxurious lounge experience during your layover at Lisbon Airport? Look no further than ANA Lounge Lisbon, the perfect place to relax and make the most of your time before your flight.

You’ll have a delightful experience in this chic airport lounge with cozy seating, scrumptious food, helpful staff, and a variety of amenities. In this blog post, we will explore all that ANA Lounge has to offer and provide tips on how to make the most out of your visit.

NOTE: ANA (All Nippon Airways) is a Japanese airline. The ANA Lounge at Lisbon’s airport (Aeroporto Humberto Delgado Lisboa) is not related to the Japanese airline ANA.

The ANA we’re talking about here stands for Aeroportos e Navegação Aérea, which means “Airports and Air Navigation” in Portuguese.

Access to ANA Lounge Lisbon

So, how can you access this amazing airport lounge? There are a few ways, which we’ll discuss right now!

Who can use ANA Lounge Lisbon?

Practically anyone! Even if you’re flying economy class or a non-premium class of travel, there are still ways you can have lounge access:

  • Book a flight in a premium class of service (on a qualifying partner airline) (but, of course)
  • Purchase a lounge membership
  • Purchase a one-time pass
  • Utilize certain credit card benefits

This lounge basically serves as the premium class lounge for all airlines at the Lisbon airport, except TAP Air Portugal (Portugal’s own airline), which has its own lounge. So, unless you’re flying TAP, this is the place for first-class passengers and business class passengers.

Does Lisbon have a Priority Pass lounge?

Yes! ANA Lounge Lisbon is a Priority Pass lounge!

You can access the lounge with your Priority Pass membership, or by utilizing credit card benefits that provide Priority Pass Memberships, such as the Capital One Venture X card!

This is how I accessed the lounge. With my Capital One Venture X card, two of my travel companions were also granted access (along with each of us showing our boarding pass, of course). Wow, credit cards have come a long way!

The ANA Lounge is also accessible via Dragon Pass.

Where is ANA Lounge Lisbon?

You will find the lounge in Lisbon Airport Terminal 1, after security, on the 6th floor. Airport signage is very helpful in locating the lounge.

Upon entering the lounge, you will check-in at the front desk.

Seating Review

Once you enter the large, open lounge, you will be impressed by its modern décor and pleasant atmosphere. There is plenty of comfortable seating to relax in before your flight.

Although this nice lounge is quite a large space, the areas feel sectioned off by the different types of seating.

  • tall-back chairs with foot rests, with view of the runway (runway views somewhat obstructed by window blinds)
  • small groups of chairs with shared coffee table
  • tables and chairs in the food areas
  • lower couch-like seating with side tables
  • comfortable high-back arm chairs with side tables

There is an abundance of electrical power outlets and charging stations all around the big lounge.

Our seating of choice were the rows of high-back arm chairs with side tables. The small tables had outlets and charging ports, so it was quite handy for food, drinks, and charging at the same time.

Semi-Budget Travel Pro Tip!

The Capital One Venture X card practically pays for itself and has tons of valuable benefits!

Food & Drink Review

The food selection has something to satisfy everyone’s tastes, including some Portuguese specialties. I highly recommend trying the delicious pastel de nata (Portuguese egg tart)!

At first glance, the food options and drinks seem fairly standard: cold cuts, sandwiches, pastries, packaged snacks, fruit, the ubiquitous Maria cookies, soft drinks, juices, tea, and coffee machines.

Then, there’s the bar. Posted on the wall above and behind the bar, there is a menu that you may order from, and they will magically bring food and drinks to you from behind the scenes. This is where you will find the pastel de nata (Portuguese custard tart), as well as freshly prepared espresso drinks with a real espresso machine.

This menu offers a wider variety of food and drinks, including hot food items. Don’t miss it! The selections are better than what’s available for self-service.

Amenities Review

This large lounge has many unique amenities to offer travelers.

Amenities at ANA Lisbon Airport Lounge

Resting Rooms – These first-come, first-service resting rooms are at the back of the lounge. They are quiet areas with an angled couch and a shelf for belongings. The rooms aren’t fancy, but they’ll do for a quiet space to rest.

Showers – Showers are available for use. There is an extra fee for a “shower kit.”

Baby Changing – Parents everywhere know that an area dedicated to taking care of your baby is golden. This lounge has special baby changing areas.

Business Center – Take care of some work in the small, but dedicated, business center. There is also free WiFi throughout the rest of the lounge for personal devices.

TV Screens – These are less TV screens and more large screen TV projection high up on the walls of the central area of the lounge.

Smoking Lounge – Yes, there is actually a smoking room available in this lounge.
