Overview
The Bliss Hotel Singapore is located in the Chinatown neighborhood of Singapore.
Check-In = Our room was ready upon arrival (well past check-in time), but our friends who were traveling with us had to wait a while, as the previous guests checked out late & their room wasn’t ready yet. So, we just hung out in our room for a little until their room was ready.
No parking is available directly at Bliss Hotel Singapore Chinatown, but I’m not sure that this is much of an issue, as the public transportation in Singapore is top notch.
Each room provides a “Handy Phone.” It provides free calls, data, and Internet while you are roaming around Singapore. We did not utilize this amenity, but it might be very handy (hehe!) for some.
Breakfast is not available at this hotel. There are, however, a variety of options close by (Toast Box!), as well as endless foodie finds all over Singapore (read about Tiann’s Bakery HERE).
Our room cost averaged $205 USD/night.
Location
Directly across the street from the Bliss Hotel Singapore is Chinatown Point shopping mall, which we visited several times. Chinatown Point has a full grocery store (Fairprice), many food options (including Toast Box!), and shopping. It is also a major stop on the MRT (Chinatown station). This was a very convenient location for our needs.
Using the MRT for transportation & a short walk across the street from the Chinatown station, the hotel is approximately 50-60 minutes from the Singapore International Airport (SIN).
Our Room
Our room was very comfortable for us. The temperature was to our liking. Having the bathroom in the front area where our children’s beds were was a bit of a hassle, and there was always water from the shower in the toilet area (they are in the same enclosure). But those were small inconveniences for being able to be in the same hotel room together and everyone having a real bed (no sofa beds or rollaways). We had no noise problems.
Clientele
The Bliss Hotel Singapore would work well for a solo traveler (standard single), a couple (variety of double occupancy rooms), or up to a family of 4 (family quad room).
My Favorite Part
Location, location, location. Since the only transportation we used in Singapore was the MRT , this hotel was in a great location. We only had to walk across the street to enter the Chinatown MRT station. This made getting around the city-state and back to the Bliss Hotel Singapore very easy. Also having Chinatown Point Mall right across the street helped us for several meals (Toast Box!), as well as groceries & medicine (at Fairprice, which is a major grocery store).
Well, and a room that housed our family of 4. A family room hotel in Singapore (or even hotel rooms for more than 2 people) is hard to find, and Singapore is not the most budget-friendly place to visit. So, we were really excited when we found the Bliss Hotel Singapore.
My Least Favorite Part
The bathroom is located right by the entrance of the room, which is where the single beds are situated. This made it difficult to get ready for bed without disturbing the children who were already asleep.
The Bliss Hotel Singapore also has no guest laundry facilities.
These were easy to work around, and there are so many benefits to this hotel that we would definitely stay there again!

This looks like a really great place to stay in Singapore. I like the contemporary look, and it looks like it was a convenient place to be. This was an interesting review because I really don’t know very much about Singapore at all. Now I know a little more of what to expect if I were to visit!
Thanks, Stacey! Singapore really has so much to offer and is a great “gateway” to Southeast Asia.
