At the 1906 Lodge, you can enjoy a uniquely-decorated room with a variety of features for your comfort. Many rooms provide a balcony, spa tub, and even a fireplace. For your convenience, each room is equipped with air conditioning, a TV, and a telephone. In the bathroom, you’ll find a hair dryer and complimentary toiletries for your personal care.
Each room at 1906 Lodge has a unique name. We stayed in the “Bay View” room. No, our room did not have a bay view; that was just its name. We were in a “Historic Lodge King Guestroom” in the main building. As we were in one of the smaller rooms on the property, there is no mini fridge in the room. However, on the 2nd floor landing, there is a community mini fridge, as well as coffee and tea self-service.
We were more than happy to see that our room had a ceiling fan, and as far as air-conditioned rooms go, it seems that many rooms (including ours) have portable A/C units. This was fine for us, as it cooled the room and provided white noise.
The size of the room for the two of us on our couple getaway was just fine. There was enough room to move around, and the bathroom was also plenty big for us.

Care for a complimentary happy hour? 1906 Lodge has that too! Each afternoon between 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., enjoy a drink and light snacks on the house! Drinks offered during our stay were red wine, white wine, sangria, beer, lemonade, or water.
If you’re thirsty at other times, water, coffee, and tea are available 24/7.
